ADVENTURE
WRITER
Philip Trupp is an author/journalist/adventurer with a career
spanning more than three decades. He has been a daily newspaper
reporter, major magazine feature writer and the author and editor of
more than a dozen books. Phil Trupp is currently under contract to Cipher
Entertainment, an independent film/book production company, located in
Arlington, VA. Trupp is currently working on three novels and related
feature-length film productions in the spy-thriller genre. He is also the jazz critic for the Washington
Times. He was associated with Project Mercury
in the early days of NASA and is an official NOAA Aquanaut,
having led the team of journalists to live and work beneath the sea.
He was one of the first journalists allowed into Castro's Cuba, has explored the Darien Rain Forest and found sunken treasure. His
assignments have been world-ranging. In addition to print media, he
has produced a TV series for NBC and is a familiar guest on talk
radio. SEA OF DREAMERS (Fulcrum
Publishing) was released in fall '98. A personal adventure into the
world of the oceans, the book includes interviews of major
scientists and explorers. He has now completing a new book of
adventures, ISLANDS OF DESIRE.
